Vancouver-based booking platform  has acquired , an all-in-one education software and agency management system, expanding its agency network by 500 agent users in Australia.

It is hoped that the move will result in Edvisor schools seeing a “significant boost” in the agencies they are able to distribute their products and services and sell through.

“Joining forces can only bring benefits to the industry as a whole”

The acquisition comes after Edvisor merged with , a CRM and booking platform for agents and education providers, back in February this year – moving Edvisor one step closer to its goal to “become the tech solution connecting all industry players in the ANZA market”.

“All of us who decided years ago to focus our careers on building software for international education, share the same vision,” said Gregorio Nieto, chief strategy officer at Edvisor.

“Joining forces can only bring benefits to the industry as a whole and help us achieve our shared objective; making the international education industry more evolved, tech-savvy and efficient.”

Since the merger with Book&Learn, Edvisor has officially become the world’s largest agency and school network with agreements spanning across fifty countries and including 80% of agencies in Latin America and Brazil, the organisation highlighted.

As of December 1, EducationLink’s 150 agency customers will be able to use Edvisor’s school network which includes 1,500 schools in 30 countries.

Through a product integration, they will be able to search, quote, and submit applications directly to Edvisor’s schools whilst continuing to use their EducationLink software.

“It just makes sense for us to join forces, because we complement each other,” said Raphael Arias, founder and CEO of EducationLink.

“And the most important thing is that by working together, education agencies, colleges and the international education industry as a whole are one step closer to having an universal, easy-to-use, and seamless ecosystem to help even more students anywhere in the world,” he said.

Taking into account their acquisition of EducationLink, Edvisor’s global network now consists of more than 7,500 agency users and 1,500 schools that rely on the platform for their day-to-day operations.
